The Avenir Moves Up
The 2027 Buick Enclave is now available to configure, and as previous reports suggested, some trims have increased by roughly $200. The range-topping Avenir, however, received a much steeper $3,300 increase because its previously optional Super Cruise Package is now standard. The Avenir AWD now starts at $67,295, including the destination charge but before options.
The price increases do little to change the Enclave’s positioning as a middle ground between mainstream and luxury three-row crossovers. At this price point, alternatives include the Lexus TX 350 Premium AWD and Acura MDX A-Spec with Advance Package. However, buyers already set on an Enclave would lose little by choosing the 2027 model over its similarly equipped predecessor, unless dealers offer substantial discounts on remaining 2026 inventory.
Fully Loaded Enclave
For the money, the top-spec Buick Enclave Avenir comes standard with 22-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, an ultrawide 30-inch diagonal display with Google built-in, heated, ventilated and massaging front seats, and a head-up display. Because it is largely a carryover, the 2027 Enclave retains the same 2.5-liter turbocharged engine, producing 328 horsepower and 326 lb-ft of torque.
However, the price can still climb with certain options, including the new Emerald Green Metallic and Blue Onyx finishes, both priced at $495. Cherry Red Tintcoat and Iridescent White Tricoat cost $150 and $600, respectively, while Ebony Twilight Metallic and Moonstone Gray Metallic are no-cost options.
Buick also introduced new camera features for 2027, including Surround Vision Recorder, Cabin Glance, and Security Recording.
Meanwhile, the interior can be had in either Ebony with Sky Cool Gray and Ebony accents or Cool Gray with Twilight Ash accents, both at no extra cost. Other options include puddle lamps for $425, roof-rack cross rails for $575, and a $3,000 extension of the OnStar One with Super Cruise plan to eight years, extending access to the services required for hands-free driving.
A Calm Year For Buick
The largely carried-over Enclave reflects what is shaping up to be a quiet 2027 model year for Buick. Major changes are not expected, although the automaker could become busier the following year. The current-generation Enclave arrived for 2025, making a mid-cycle update possible for 2028.
Another significant development for 2028 will be the production shift of the Envision’s successor from China to General Motors’ Fairfax Assembly plant in Kansas City. GM has not confirmed whether the new compact crossover will retain the Envision name, although it is expected to remain in the same segment. After all, compact crossovers represent one of the most important segments in the U.S., encompassing popular mainstream models such as the Toyota RAV4 and luxury offerings such as the BMW X3.
