
- JLL Capital Markets has expanded its Debt Advisory platform with the addition of Senior Director David Ghannadi to its Orange County Capital Markets team. In this role, Ghannadi will be primarily responsible for originating debt and equity solutions in the private capital sector of commercial real estate owners located on the West Coast, working alongside clients to structure and place financing solutions that align with their investment strategies and capital needs. He joins JLL from Columbia Bank where he was responsible for commercial real estate and multifamily lending. He held similar roles at Pacific Premier Bank, Convoy Capital and Banc of California.
- Stockdale Capital Partners today announced the launch of a real estate credit platform and the appointment of Alec Maki as SVP of Credit Investments, expanding the vertically integrated real estate investment firm’s strategy beyond equity investments. The new platform will focus on providing flexible capital solutions nationwide, including senior bridge loans, mezzanine loans, note purchases and special situation investments across a broad range of commercial real estate asset classes. Maki, who will be based in the firm’s New York office, joins Stockdale from Fortress Investment Group.
- JTM Construction Group, Inc., an affiliate of JT Magen, a national construction firm, has made four new hires in its Los Angeles office: Giovanni Cangelosi, LEED AP has joined as Senior Project Manager; Richard Collinge as Project Manager; and Ratema “Bur” Ngaheu and Isai Absalom Lopez each as Superintendent. The new hires will be responsible for leading and managing the construction of high-end tenant improvement projects across California.
- CIM Group and Bryant Group Ventures announced that Fifth Third Bank has made a capital commitment to the CIM-BGV Affordable Housing Impact Fund as part of the Fund’s latest closing. The closing also included upsizes from existing investors Truist Bank and Flagstar Bank, bringing the Fund’s total investment capacity to over $370 million through fund equity and access to loan capacity.
- As the Presidio Trust’s Founding Partner and Official Healthcare Partner, Sutter Health becomes the first nonprofit healthcare organization to hold an official partnership designation with a U.S. national park site. The partnership will bring free health and wellness experiences to the Presidio, beginning with weekly outdoor yoga in fall 2026. In 2027, Sutter Health, through its recently announced partnership with the San Francisco 49ers, will introduce an outdoor wellness installation and additional programming designed to encourage movement, recreation and healthy living.
- Aphias Capital, an operationally and vertically focused private equity firm, plans to make a majority growth investment in SNZweig Advisors LLC. The investment is being made in connection with the combination of Stambaugh Ness and Zweig Group, which intend to merge and form SNZweig, a professional services and advisory firm built exclusively to support and advance architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) businesses.
