Crescent Energy Co. is spending approximately $26.9 million to build out its new offices at 609 Main. It currently rents space in JPMorgan Chase Tower, at 600 Travis St.
The Houston Business Journal reports the plan includes 75,000 square feet of improvements on the 12th-14th floors at the 48-story building. The renovations are scheduled to begin in August and wrap up by early next year. M Moser Associates is the design firm. Crescent has leased another 50,000 square feet, but it’s not clear what the company’s plans are for that space.
Last year, Crescent acquired Vital Energy Inc. in a $3.1 billion deal. Crescent focuses on upstream exploration.
In 2024, Crescent Energy made another multibillion-dollar deal with the acquisition of SilverBow Resources Inc. That deal was valued at $2.1 billion.
