Kane Realty is building an 8-story apartment complex, along with some retail space, on land it recently picked up within the North Hills Innovation District in Raleigh. The Triangle Business Journal reports the company paid $72 million for the 28-acre property.
Kane will develop the site at 901 Navaho Drive, where a sprawling apartment venture currently stands. The company will demolish the complex to make way for its latest project.
The 55-and-over community will include 124 one-bedroom and 83 two-bedroom apartments. Amenities include a swimming pool, pet spa, bicycle storage room.Â
The retail will be split into two spaces with one in the southwest corner of the building and the other in the southeast corner.Â
The plans are the latest in Kane Realty’s ongoing expansion of North Hills. Three more buildings are planned for the second phase of the Innovation District.Â
