Lucid Motors is starting to experience the gravity of bringing its third model to market. The automaker has just announced a plan to cut its US workforce by nearly 20%, just months after it slashed staffing by 12%. It is also dropping the second shift of production at its plant in Arizona and has eliminated the role of COO Marc Winterhoff, who had also served as interim CEO.
