Porsche Doubles Down On Its Roots To Survive: ‘There Will Be No Fully Electric 911’

It’s been a tough month for Porsche, and not just because one 911 GT3 R finished 13th at the 24 Hours of Le Mans while the other hit a wall. Top management in Stuttgart might also be hitting a metaphorical wall as the automaker – like so many others – struggles to find a way forward in a “very challenging environment,” as CEO Michael Leiters described it today at the Porsche AG annual general meeting.
