
Newmark has arranged a $55 million loan on behalf of Mack Real Estate Group, Silverstein Properties and Cantor Fitzgerald to refinance Swell Apartments, a 200-unit multifamily community in Seattle, Washington.
Newmark’s Co-Head of Global Debt & Structured Finance, Jordan Roeschlaub; Vice Chairman, Chris Kramer; Senior Associate, Sam Speciale; and Analyst, Lance Tillman arranged the financing with ORIX. Completed in 2024, Swell Apartments is a newly constructed luxury apartment community located in Seattle’s Yesler Terrace neighborhood.
The 200-unit property offers a mix of market-rate and affordable residences with contemporary finishes, including stainless steel appliances, floor-to-ceiling windows and in-unit laundry. Positioned within one of Seattle’s most connected residential neighborhoods, the property offers immediate access to the Seattle Streetcar and Interstate 5, providing convenient connectivity to downtown Seattle and the region’s leading employment centers. Swell Apartments is also located near major employers, including Amazon, Microsoft, Costco and Starbucks, as well as the city’s entertainment and cultural destinations.
