Rolls-Royce never shies away from a challenge, whether that’s embedding a galaxy in the Starlight Headliner or using a special wood for a custom creation like the La Rose Noire Droptail commission. But its latest creation could go down in history as one of its greatest, and it’s not even a car; it’s simply the wooden paneling that will go into it. Rolls-Royce labels this the most intricate woodwork in its history, and it’s not hard to see why. Making it even more special, artisans had to undergo a year of training before crafting this woodwork. It’s a creation with several firsts, but will be available to a handful of buyers as part of a Rolls-Royce Private Collection, celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Rolls-Royce Phantom.
