Mitsubishi is going through a crisis. In the United States, sales in 2025 fell 14% year-over-year, reaching a volume of just 94,754 automobiles. By comparison, Toyota sells nearly four times that number with just one model, the RAV4. The situation hasn’t improved in Q1 2026, with deliveries down about 18% over Q1 2025. Making matters worse, the automaker has lost 56 dealers in the US since 2019 – a 16% drop.
